I May Have To Fire Her

Enough is enough. My transcription services have been shoddy this summer, to say the least. I thought I had things back under control, but no. Herself and Molly are off to stomp around the mountains again - hah, I doubt the mountains will ever be the same.

I have a story to tell you about another donkey rescue that has ended with the donkey in question now being safe at PrimRose. But of course it must wait...

Oh well, at least Doc is home to keep us well guarded while the female element hits the road. We have a new woman coming in to do our housekeeping. We met her today and so far she has my seal of approval. I will report on that as well.

I'm off to brood under the trees; I may take legal action against the Woman and need to build a solid case.

Sheaffer, it is such a pity that we don't live closer to one another. I would LOVE it if I could come stay with you and Jack and Doc and all while The Woman larks about.

I could help transcribe your memoir and we could work together on your official biography.

Hi Sheaffer,
It is too bad that your woman is always taking off for parts unknown and you are left to hold down the fort. Maybe your new housekeeper could take a few notes for you and hand them to herself the minute she arrives home. Hopefully she will feel guilty enough to stay at home for awhile and get caught up on your stories.

There is not much new. We have a few older horses here that are not enjoying the heat and humidity but we donkeys are loving every minute of it. We have a sand pile to roll in and then we can stretch out and pretend we are at the beach. There are some rude comments made when all four of us are laying flat out.
Some people are not very polite when it comes to discussing different body styles.

For some reason I do not understand, I now have to wear a halter and leadrope when visitors come in our field to admire me and my bevy of beauties. I heard whispers about being pushy and jealous but I am sure they weren't referring to me.

We will be waiting eagerly to hear your next PrimRose story.

Your fan,

Willy

Sheaffer,
I am having the same problem with my woman. She has been galavanting all over this summer. I have much to say, but none of it is getting recorded! Mind you, some of the galavanting has included myself, but that is no excuse not to report on said activities. (Pnut and I have each been to competitions and won ribbons in our respective sports.) We need to form a union and go on strike against our humans. Wonder what she would do if I refused to move when she hitched me to the cart?!
Your Friend,
Finn

HAy Sheaffer - sorry about your woman leaving you again - hope she takes good care of Molly.

Finn - you are winning stuff - oh I want to hear all about it - and pictures please.

Hi Sheaffer & Buddy,

I participated in a Horse Driving Trial last month. I would have finished 3rd if my woman hadn't taken a wrong turn in the last obstacle, costing us 20 points and putting us down to 5th. I was spectacular. The woman, however, was her usual ditzy self. Pnut participated in a Cowboy Race and finished 6th. Not bad for their first time, and, again due to the silly woman... not practicing the tasks before hand. Don't know when we'll have pictures of either activity... we really must organize a union to get these two-leggers in line!

My friends, you can see what I must endure. Days on end without typing services, unable to communicate with you. I expect more and better service in the near future - I live in hope that Herself will put aside her petty pursuits and do the right thing. I may simply be delusional.
