Oh goodness, it's amazing he had time to send out a bulletin! I know you miss your fren, Shaeffer, but he is clearly needed at his current post. Incredible they ever got along without him.

Jack, Redford is quite interested in being an apprentice. It is wonderful to hear from you and I am sure Sheaffer will weigh in on your bulletin soon. Give Sheila a hug - and keep things in line up there!!

Hay Jack - I'm just tired reading your bulletin - you are one busy dude - sounds like you are a happy donkey :)

it's kinda like us humans....we retire and all of a sudden...we're so dang busy we can't figure out how we did all the stuff we're doing now as well as holding down a full time job.....it's a strange thing ain't it? Poor old Sheila...I'm sure glad Jack moved over there to help her out....it's plain to see she definitely needed him to help out around that place......

AutumnSkyRanch - it is amazing that he has any spare time, though I fear it shows somewhat in his hasty dictation. Sheila echoes your very words - how did she ever manage without him...I sense a note of exasperated irony in her tone.

billie - oh my, Redford would be the perfect apprentice. Imagine him on pig-repelling duty...those pigs would be repelled forthwith. He and Jack both seem to have inherited the supervisory gene. And they know how to use it.

Buddy - if Jack gets any happier he may simply implode. I need him here to help entertain Chester...

Vee - Jack's very words! He's never been busier - in fact I would say the 44 year old is even busier than the 4 year old here. Sheila must wonder how such an ancient dervish can be such a "hoof-on" force at the sanctuary.

Calm, Forward, Straight - I have never met a pig myself and don't care to any time soon - all those strange vocalizations and no hair... At first Jack refused to even acknowledge them but he has moved on to driving them out of his space whenever they trespass. He is like a vengeful biblical figure banishing them to the wilderness.

Oh Sheaffer, we forgot to tell you that Ma met Jack and her beautiness Primrose, and all their friends at Primrose Donkey Sanctuary! Silly woman opened a gate to go in and meet Jack but, oh my, she was standing between Jack and a hay bale. Needless to say Jack bowled her over to get to the hay. She still giggles about how foolish she was ( does this means she sorta loves Jack 'cause she is sorta laughing!) Ma just fell in love with Jack and wishes he could be closer to us so she visit more often. She was also very sad that she couldn't meet you but will do her utmost to attend a function where you will be the guest or host. Ma says all things said about Jack are true. He rounds up the pigs, checks all stations and animals for food. Ma calls Jack perpetual motion . If this perpetual thing involves getting more lovin' and pets. we're all for it!!

dogma - so your ma met the man Himself? How exciting and how alarming that he body checked her on his way to the hay...I must apologize for my elderly and sometimes eccentric friend. I too hope that we meet soon somewhere or other. I promise to not bowl you over...
