Gazelle, one of my faithful readers and a good friend as well, made an excursion to the sanctuary last weekend and fortunately took her photographic equipment with her. She has invited us to view the photos at her virtual picture gallery. http://picasaweb.google.com/gazelle600/PrimRoseDonkeySanctuary
She apologizes if the album is a tad Leon and Annabelle heavy. Since she, as Jack says, "sprung fer the dough ta spring em" from the auction ring, we feel it's quite understandable.

On a cold, damp Scottish morn; these were just what I needed to bring a smile to may face!
Thank you Gazelle :)
Love the photos! What a handsome and beautiful bunch!
Dougie, it's quite the cast of characters. The woman went over yesterday and reports that all inhabitants are in great spirits and those in rough shape are on the mend. Sheila may be some sort of miracle worker.
Billie, there will be more photos after Herself's visit yesterday and yes, they are a beautiful bunch. That Annabelle, well, she's enough to take one's breath away...
Hay Sheaffer and Gazelle - great pics. Leon and Annabelle look wonderful as do the rest of the donkey gang.
We are having thunderstorms yesterday and again this evening - scary stuff.
Your fren,
Buddy, I hope you're not wearing metal shoes during those violentthunderstorms? If so, you need to replace them with rubber boots.
Hay Sheaffer - I'm a barefoot horse - no shoes on these hoofies!
Your fren,
Buddy, keep us posted. Does it feel wonderful, do you miss your footwear? All that sand must feel wonderful on the feet.
