BumbleVee, thank you, Tuffy and I are simply standing by, waiting to do our bit. The woman relented and I don't have to wear the garish neck wreath monstrosities. She bought a length of royal purple velvet to make me a sash. That part is good - however, we need you here with your skills as the woman typically sews things either to herself or the furniture. I am highly relieved, to say the least. Ben And Jerry have requested coloured hair gel and sparkles - the younger generation has different ideas about party-wear...Russel the mule from PrimRose is wearing a green bowler hat and PrimRose herself an enormous hat worthy of the Queen Mother. Thank you for the hugs and ear scratches - I will share them out amongst the six donkeys in attendance.

Sheaffer,
I know your party will be the Social Event of the Season! So glad to hear the woman has acquired the appropriate color and material! We shall hope it doesn't end up with her hair sewn in... don't let her approach you with it with a needle in her hand; demand the tailoring be completely finished before you try it on. We will be sipping Lemon Squash here in your honor, wearing our large hats. My woman's Lemon Squash recipe is probably a tiny bit different from what will be served at your affaire... she says she adds something called Agave Juice... some kind of thing from Mexico I believe... Enjoy! Ole!

CindyLouWho, your chapeau is magnificent! Such style, such elan. My sash is ready and thankfully she just ironed it into shape and didn't attempt to put needle to cloth. Your recipe for lemon squash sounds quite superior and I will investigate this mystery ingredient. It makes me happy just thinking about it. We will raise a glass in your honour tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Sheaffer!

My woman is just back from her sojourn in the sun & is raising a glass of something called "Port" in your honour. I have rather a lot of raisins in my evening meal...yummy.

Hope everything is going well. Or should that be went? I must get information on the time difference between Scotland & Canada!

I wish you endless food & dust baths.

Dougie
